Atlanta offers a wide variety of fun and educational attractions for your single or multi-day educational tour.  Students will learn about history, science and government.  Day trips to the Georgia Aquarium start at just $99.00 per person!  An overnight tour that includes 4 points of interest and an evening activity starts at just $199.00 per person!  Choose from any of the points of interest below to begin planning your educational tour!

 

 

 

Georgia Aquarium – The world’s largest aquarium with over 100,000 marine animals from 500 different species!  Five halls allow you to view the marine life from the local waters of Georgia and around the world.  Educational programs are booked upon availability for all student groups!

CNN Studios – Take a guided tour of CNN headquarters where more than 60% of all footage aired on CNN is produced.  Go behind the scenes to learn what goes into bringing the news to households around the world each and every day.

The World of Coca-Cola – This attraction features more than 1,200 artifacts from around the world and they are all focused on one of the most well known brands in the world, Coca Cola.  Students will learn the history of the product from its origin in a local pharmacy to its worldwide distribution.  Also get a taste of Coke products from around the world.

The King Center – Explore the official memorial dedicated to the advancement of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., leader of America’s greatest nonviolent movement for justice, equality, and peace. 

Georgia State Capitol – Take a tour of the working center of Georgia’s state government.  Get a peek inside the House or Senate Chambers, see the office of the Governor, and learn the history of the building.

Fernbank Museum of Natural History – Explore cultural treasures and ancient fossils, enjoy science interactives and marvel at some of the largest dinosaurs ever discovered!  Combine a visit to the museum with an IMAX movie.

Cyclorama – Take a stirring journey through time in Atlanta’s Cyclorama.  Sit in the center of a sweeping panorama of the Battle of Atlanta, fought on July 22, 1864, during the American Civil War.

Zoo Atlanta – Visit Grant Park for plenty of education and fun while at the Atlanta Zoo.  Animal keeper talks, training demonstrations, shows, animal encounters and more are all included.

Center for Puppetry Arts – This organization has been around for 30 years and is dedicated to the art form of puppetry.  Students will be involved in a puppet building workshop led by a master puppetteer and see a live show.
